Baby Lamotta is due September 28th, 2017!
Today is 8/11/17 which means I’m 33 weeks, 1 day pregnant!
Baby is the size of a junior tennis racquet.
I’ve gained… probably about 20 pounds by now.
Midwife appointment this week? No.
Current mood: Stressed to the max getting the house ready!
Cravings: Ice cream!
Food Aversions: Pizza… grrrr.
The yucky stuff: Constipation, major feet/ankle swelling and pain, and starting to get more and more uncomfortable. I’ve been feeling sick after I eat lunch most days because I can’t fit the food in my belly. And the heartburn… it’s at an all-time high most of the day.
Currently rocking: Le Tote purple maternity dress… and sandals that are way too tight. This feet swelling thing is no bueno.
The best thing about pregnancy this week? I can literally see her doing flips when I look at my belly – super freaky but cool!
What’s different about baby #2 than with Jude’s pregnancy? I think I got the feet swelling much sooner with Jude.
I’m nervous about: Painting the baby room and having all the needed furniture and decor up and ready in time. I’m about to start scraping the popcorn ceiling this week!
Other thoughts: I’m a little bummed that no family (other than my dad) can make it to the baby shower. Without having my mom around, I really wanted some of my other family to come but I know it’s hard for them to make the trip. It’s just hard when the one person you want there, can’t come. <3 I know it’ll get easier, but right now I’m really hormonal about it.
On a totally different note, we had out maternity pictures done by Liza (Eliza Jane Photography) and I’m so excited to see them! The preview she posted was so beautiful. Liza lives in NY now but happened to be in NC for a bit this summer visiting family and I’m so excited she was here and able to do this for us. Her talent is unbelievable and she made us feel so comfortable. I can’t want to see the rest.
