Baby Two: 18 Weeks Pregnant

Baby Lamotta is due September 28th, 2017!

Today is 4/27/17 which means I’m 18 weeks preggo!

Baby is the size of a slingshot!

Baby is a… WE FIND OUT TONIGHT!! 🙂 SUPERHERO OR PRINCESS!

Midwife appointment this week? NOPE. Buttttt I had my ultrasound appointment at Wake Med North. My dad came with me since Jordan had to work. It was so fun seeing the little one. This baby was moving SO much that the ultrasound tech was getting frustrated because she couldn’t get the important pics she needed but after lots of jamming around in my tummy, she finally got them all and the doc came in and said this baby is perfectly healthy! She gave me an envelope with the “money shot” and I went to Target to have them put either a superhero or princess outfit into a box for me. The girl at Target loved joining in on the fun!

Current mood:  EXCITED/ANXIOUS/BARELY ABLE TO EAT I CAN’T CONTAIN MY NERVES!

Cravings: Really wanted ORANGES today.

Food Aversions: Pizza, still. 🙁

The yucky stuff: This baby is allllll up on my bladder, particularly on my right hipbone area. It’s been a pain because I have to pee ALL.THE.TIME. Especially at night. ughs.

Currently rocking:  Maternity shorts since I’m working from home, and a pink maternity shirt. Last ultrasound when I was finding out the sex, I accidentally wore blue and got a boy, so I’m hoping the girl Gods are ever in my favor. 🙂 (Honestly though, just happy to have a healthy baby!)

The best thing about pregnancy this week? We get to find out the sex tonight!

What’s different about baby #2 than with Jude’s pregnancy? Everything. Literally nothing feels/seems the same.

I’m nervous about: My reaction to the gender reveal. I may cry either way because I am not loving attention on me right now and I’m super hormonal.

Other thoughts: I learned today that my mom and dad had a miscarriage when my mom was 4 1/2 months pregnant. I always knew she had one with him (stepdad, technically, but REAL dad) but never realized how far along she was. I wish I could give her a hug. It would be a perfect day if she was here today.
